PM Narendra Modi sworn in on 30th MayPrime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in on 30th May 2019 by President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

This is going to be Modi's second consecutive (one after the other) term as India's Prime Minister.
 	Along with the PM, 57  Union Ministers* were also sworn in.
 	Some of the prominent names sworn in were, Amit Shah, Raj Nath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, among others.

Attendees of the Ceremony

The ceremony was attended by 6000 guests, including leaders of BIMSTEC countries*, the Kyrgyz Republic and Mauritius.
 	Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi  also attended the ceremony.
 	The business world was represented by Ratan Tata, Gautam Adani, and Mukesh Ambani, with his family.
 	Several Bollywood stars like Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi, also attended the ceremony.

*Union Minister: Head of a particular ministry such as Education, Health, etc in the central government.

*Dignitaries: Important people

*BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) countries: India's neighbours and trade partners in the Bay of Bengal region. The countries in BIMSTEC are, Bhutan, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Nepal.
