Doraemon – The beloved blue robot cat from the future!

Doraemon is a famous Japanese comic and animated television series. 

Fun facts about Doraemon!

  • The comic features Doraemon, a cat-like robot, is from the 22nd century (in the future).
  • He travels back to the present times to help a boy named Nobita.
  • Nobita is a careless boy who always gets into trouble and wants Doraemon’s help.
  • He is very friendly and intelligent and even helps Nobita complete his homework!
  • Doraemon has a magic pocket on his belly. He takes amazing tools out of that pocket to save Nobita.
  • However, even though he is a robot, he must eat and sleep. In fact, his favourite food is dorayaki (Japanese sweet buns).

  Doraemon and Nobita are the closest and most faithful friends of all time. Other popular characters in the Doraemon series are Shizuka, Suneo, Gian and Dekisugi.

How does Doraemon look?

  • Doraemon is a blue and white-coloured cute cat who weighs 129.3 kg.

 

  • His ears were eaten off by a robot mouse. Since then he developed a fear of rats.
