Tintin, the adventurous and brave reporter completes 90 years

We have read about the French-language comic Asterix. Today, let’s read about another popular French comic The Adventures of Tintin and its hero, Tintin!
The Adventures of Tintin is a comic series created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the name Hergé. French is one of the three official languages of Belgium. The other two are Dutch and German.
Tintin, the hero of the story, is a reporter and adventurer who travels around the world with his dog Snowy. He made his first appearance in Tintin in the Land of the Soviets (1929–1930) as a journalist in Russia.
How is Tintin like?
Tintin is a young man, around 14 to 19 years old with a round face and sort of pointy hairstyle. He is intelligent, honest, smart and kind and uses his brains to solve mysteries he comes across.
With many skills, such as being able to fix and drive any kind of car and even a tank, he is a real hero. He has even gone to the Moon on one of his adventures!
In the comics, he is supported by other characters such as Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus.
