Watch a video: Car sinks into lake on live television

There is a car going into the lake!

Watching reporters on live TV can throw up surprises sometimes. For example, a while ago, we read about a dog snatching away a reporter’s microphone.

Well, a new funny video has been going viral recently. The video shows a reporter speaking about a serious topic live on camera. But unknown to him, a car behind him was slowly sinking into the lake.

This incident happened in Illinois, US on 29 July. In the video, the reporter named Jakob Emerson is talking about the construction of a lake. But behind him, we can see a car going backwards into the lake. When Jakob realises what is happening, he moves out of the way and tells the cameraman to shoot that instead.

The video, which is on Twitter, has been viewed over 5 lakh times. Some people found the event funny, while others were worried that there may have been people in the car. Thankfully, the car was empty and no one was injured.
