A while ago, we read about toymaker Lego launching the world’s largest Lego set, Lego Colosseum. This Lego set is an exact copy of the Colosseum in Rome, Italy. And the Lego Colosseum is made up of 9,036 pieces.

What is the Colosseum in Rome?

It is a giant amphitheatre (open theatre) built of stone. This amphitheatre is almost 2000 years old and is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built. It could hold tens of thousands of spectators who came to see fights and other performances.

In February 2021, a man named Paul Ufema from the US took 13 hours, 37 minutes and 36 seconds to build the Lego Colosseum.

With this, he created a world record for the fastest time to build the world’s largest Lego set. Guinness World Records confirmed it.

Paul’s other projects

Paul enjoys building legos. He even has his own YouTube channel called All New Bricks where he builds Legos.
