Where’s the pink glow lighting coming from in Australia?

Recommended for Preparatory Grades

Recently, the residents of an Australian town saw a mysterious pink glow in the sky. They thought that the last day of the world has come and accepted as their fate.

Reasons for the pink glow

The pink glow had a different story. The pink glow that lighted the sky of Mildura town was light from a local medicinal cannabis facility.

Cannabis is a pharmaceutical company and they stated in a tweet that local residents were treated to a light show during the night. During that time, the people from the Cann group were testing their cultivation zones at the cannabis facility. They stated that the pink light was not a solar flare.

Light is one of the most fundamental considerations in cannabis cultivation. This process involves different light spectrums to encourage growth. Red wavelengths are considered to be the most effective for photosynthesis.

All about the Mildura cannabis farm

The Mildura cannabis farm is a new facility that has become operational this year. According to Cann Group CEO Peter Crock, lights are cut by sunset but when they test new equipment, lights stayed until a later time. Australia legalised access to medicinal cannabis at the governmental level.
