World’s biggest rabbit Darius has gone missing

Recommended for Foundational Grades

Did you know that the world’s biggest rabbit is 1.2 metres long? That’s about as tall as an 8-year-old child!

This rabbit is called Darius. Darius is a continental giant rabbit. They are one of the biggest types of rabbit on Earth. These rabbits are popularly kept as pets.

Darius lives in Stoulton, Worcestershire, in England. Well, he used to. In a big shock to his owner, Annette Edwards, Darius has been missing since last Saturday. It is believed that he has been stolen by someone.

Annette is very sad that Darius is missing. She is offering a reward of 1,000 British pounds (about ₹1 lakh) for his safe return.

Darius was named the longest living rabbit by Guinness World Records in April 2010. We hope that he returns home safely!
