World’s loneliest man also known as the “Man of the hole,” passed away in a forest in Brazil. He lived in the Brazilian rainforest. He had spent his entire life solitary in his home. So, people began to call him “The World’s Loneliest Man.”
He also dug deep holes, so people called him “Man of the Hole.” Some of the holes were set up to catch animals, while others looked like places to hide.

When it comes to tropical rainforests, none are bigger than the Amazon. It is famous for having a huge number of different plants and animals. It is mostly in northwest Brazil, but it also goes into other South American countries.

- He lived on the land of the Tanaru people in the Amazon rainforest in the Brazilian state of Rondonia.
- A group of native activists called Funai gave the hermit this name because of the strange way he hunted.
- He had always tried to stay away from people from the outside world.
- Funai saw the “Man of the Hole” for the first time in 1996. He was setting traps for his prey in deep holes he dug into the first floor.
- As per locals, he had ignored all attempts of communication, whether they were direct or involved leaving food packages for him.
- Locals state that the last members of his tribe died in the 1980s because land grabbers and cattle ranchers killed them.
- People think he knew he was going to die because he was holding an ornamental feather from a bird, which is a part of the funeral rituals his people follow.
- Nobody ever found out what language he spoke or what the name of his tribe was.
- There were no signs of violence or struggle, and no one else was thought to have had anything to do with his death.
