30 matches of the IPL 2022 have been played to date. With the game going good at the moment, COVID-19 is knocking on the doors again.
The all-rounder of the Delhi Capitals, Mitchelle Marsh tested positive for COVID-19. As per the IPL rules, he will need to isolate himself for one week. The entire team took the RT-PCR tests on 18th April. Wednesday’s match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings will be held in Mumbai itself.
IPL 2022 Cricket update
- Gujarat Titans (GT) makes on the top of the score table with 5 wins.
- Rajasthan Royals (RR) step down to the second position with 4 wins and 2 losses.
- Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) marks the third place in the score table with 4 wins as it won its 4th match against Mumbai Indians (MI) by 18 runs.
Today, on the 19th of April, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Whilst, Delhi Capitals (DC) will play against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on 20th April.
