Spiderman fights for a clean society

We all know about spiderman, the superhero. You must have heard about him, haven’t you?

Recently, a piece of news is circulating about the environment where the spiderman is seen cleaning the society and roads.

Who is spiderman?

Spiderman is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by Marvel comics.

What is waste?

Waste is discarded material that are discarded after the usage.

Spiderman first appeared in the anthology comic book Amazing Fantasy #15  in August 1962. American comic books. The character is created by Stan Lee. After the success in comic books, Spiderman has been featured in television shows, movies, video games and even plays.

The character Spiderman is the nickname of Peter Parker who was an orphan and was raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in New York.

Waste generation in the world

In the year 2016, cities all over the world generated over 2 billion tonnes of solid waste. A large amount of waste also ends up on the streets.

To get rid of the waste, an environmentalist from Nigeria dresses up as the superhero Spiderman. He helps to clean up the Osogbo streets.

He is Jonathan Olakunle and he is seen on the streets of Nigeria clearing the waste from the streets.
