Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet where a tiger is seen jumping from a boat.

What’s in the video?

A royal Bengal tiger is seen jumping from a boat. The tiger was rescued and was taken to the Sundarbans for its release in the wild. The tiger jumps into the water and then swims its way toward its natural habitat.

What is Sundarbans?

Sundarbans Reserve Forest (SRF) exists in the area formed by the meeting of Padma, Brahamputra and Meghna rivers in the Bay of Bengal.

Sundarbans Reserve forest is known for the mangrove forests, and also preserves the endangered species of the Royal Bengal tigers and Irawadi dolphins. It is also included in the list of the World’s cultural heritage sites.

The video of the Royal Bengal tiger jumping into the water was shared by Indian Forest Officer (IFS) Parween Kalwan on Twitter. The video has got 88,000 views and is liked by 4,000 people.
