ICSE 10th class results declared!

ICSE 10th class results are declared at cisce.org. A total of 2,31,063 students appeared for the ICSE class 10th exams. Around 99.98% of students passed while the pass percentage of girls is higher than boys.

ICSE 10th class results

The declared result is the final result announced by CISCE. It includes the scores of both terms and marks obtained by students in the internal assessments. The final mark sheets of ICSE class 10 exam will be available on the official website of CISCE. Four students including three girls and one boy have secured the first rank in the ICSE examination. They have obtained 99.80% marks each.

The students are Hargun Kaur Matharu from St Mary’s School in Pune, Anika Gupta from Sheiling House School in Kanpur, Kanishka Mittal from City Montessori School, Kanpur Road, Lucknow and Pushkar Tripathi from Jesus and Mary School, Balrampur.

To pass the two-term exam, students had to clear the combined exams. The pass or fail status is declared on the final score and not term-wise scores. Also, students need overall 33% marks to pass the ICSE exams.

After achieving the highest percentage of 100% last year, it seems like ICSE’s pass percentage has dropped this year. Last year, students were promoted without exams and this year, the exams have been held twice in the year and with different patterns.

This is the first time in the history of the ICSE board, two examinations were conducted in one year. First term examinations were held in November-December 2021, and second term exams were held in April-May 2022 for both classes 10th and 12th. ICSE will issue the merit list this year containing the names of top-ranking students and will mention detailed marks.
