European Space Agency (ESA) published a report that states that the Sun is in its middle age. The age of the Sun as of right now is calculated to be 4.57 billion years.
According to the facts in the report, the Sun will end up dying sometime between 10 and 11 billion years from now after it changes into a red giant star.

Gaia is a European space observatory that is trying to make a map of the Milky Way galaxy in three dimensions.
The European Space Agency (ESA) has made these observations from its Gaia telescope.

- The research has shared how the sun will act at different stages of its life and when it will approach the end of its existence.
- Experts believe that eventually, the hydrogen fuel will run out in the Sun.
- Then, it will begin to swell into a red giant star, which will result in a decrease in the temperature at its surface.
- In addition, the sun will achieve its highest temperature at around 8 billion years of age.
- After which it will begin to gradually cool down and grow in size.
- At approximately 10–11 billion years of age, it will transform into a red giant star.
- After passing through this phase, the Sun will finally transform into a sluggish white dwarf, marking the end of its long and eventful life.
