Russia to offer incentives to increase population!

Russia will provide financial incentives in an effort to encourage more women to have children. This decision was made in light of the fact that recent years have shown a steady fall in Russia’s birthrate.

The average birth rate in Russia is currently around 1.5 children per woman. Mr Putin stated that Russia’s birth rate had fallen to 1.16 in 1999. The average birth rate in Russia is currently around 1.5 children per woman.

The current birthrate is lower than it had been even during World War II. President Vladimir Putin has come up with a number of ideas to increase the birthrate in the next four years.

Several countries in Eastern Europe are having trouble because their birth rates are going down.

After a big drop in the 1990s, Russia’s population has had a hard time getting back to where it was.

  • The government has said that new moms will get money from the state. This is known as the “Maternity capital”.
  • “Maternity capital” payments have only been given to families with two or more young children up until now.
  • Children between the ages of 3 and 7 who live in low-income homes will be able to get help from welfare.
  • During their first four years of elementary school, they will also get free lunch.
  • The government also said that moms with three or more children might be able to get tax breaks.
  • In the European Union, the average number of births per woman is 1.59.
  • This number is much lower in Spain, Italy, Greece, and Malta than it is in Russia.
  • Even the birth of the first child wasn’t as important as it used to be.
