India’s first “solar automobile,” was unveiled for the first time at the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

It is named “Eva”. An electric vehicle startup company (Vayve Mobility) developed the Eva.

• Auto Expo is regarded by automobile experts as one of the best auto events in the world.
• It is the second-largest car and motorsports show in the world.
• From January 13 to January 18, 2023, Auto Expo 2023 will be held.
• Several car and motorcycle companies show off their newest cars and bikes.

• With a capacity of 2 plus 1, Eva desires to meet the needs of people who live in cities (two adults and one child).
• The car runs on batteries and there is only one door.
• In addition, if any of the passengers are interested, they can buy solar panels for the roof.
• And the solar panel could also be put on the car’s roof.
• Thus, even if the car is left parked outside in the sun, the solar roof will continue to charge the battery.
• The solar roof will be a separate item that can be bought on its own.
• The manufacturer says that the car can go up to 250 kilometres on a single charge of its battery.
• Also, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available as connectivity options.
• The company Vayve Mobility thinks it will be ready for sale by the beginning of 2024.
