The Beating Retreat will mark the official end of the Republic Day celebrations. The Beating Retreat ceremony will feature sounds based on Indian classical music. In addition to a breathtaking drone show.

Classical ragas and a mega drone show are going to wow viewers at the Beating Retreat 2023.

President Droupadi Murmu is also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. She is going to preside over the Beating Retreat event.

The ceremony will also be attended by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, as well as the Minister of Defense, Rajnath Singh.

  • The “largest drone display” the country has ever seen will take place over Raisina Hill, and it will feature 3,500 homegrown drones.
  • According to officials, “the glorious drone display will light up the twilight sky over Raisina Hill.”
  • It will weave myriad forms of national figures, and events through smooth synchronisation.
  • The event aspires to depict the success of the start-up ecosystem.
  • In addition to the technological capability of the country’s youth.
  • Hopefully, this sets the way for future path-breaking trends.
  • The officials also express that during the event, a three-dimensional projection will be shown for the very first time on the facade of both North Block and South Block.
  • According to the ministry, this year’s Beating the Retreat ceremony will also feature tunes based on Indian classical ragas.
  • The music bands of the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the State Police, and the Central Armed Police Force will perform as many as 29 enthralling and foot-tapping Indian tunes during the occasion.
  • The ever-familiar tune “Sare Jahan se Accha” will serve as a fitting conclusion to the gathering.
  • From 4:50 pm, the event will be shown on DD National.
  • It will also be streamed live on Doordarshan’s YouTube channel
