India’s largest musical floating fountain!

Hyderabad is the site of India’s largest musical floating fountain, which recently opened there. 

What is a musical fountain?

A musical fountain, also called a “fairy fountain,” is a type of fountain that makes beautiful designs as a form of entertainment.

The one-of-a-kind musical floating fountain has a length of 180 metres, a width of 10 metres, and a height of approximately 90 metres.

  • The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) unveiled the country’s largest musical floating fountain at Hussain Sagar Lake.
  • It will serve as yet another star attraction for visitors to Hyderabad and weekend revellers.
  • Nearly 800 jet high-powered nozzles and 880 underwater LED lights combine to create a dynamic effect in the musical floating fountain.
  • This is one of the unique features of the musical floating fountain.
  • It also includes three sets of lasers that showcase different themes.
  • For example, a mist fairy fog that creates a cloud effect alongside the music; and so on.
  • Through the use of technology, the fountain’s individual nozzles and jets have been programmed to move in time with the music.
  • The spray height of the chasing nozzles ranges anywhere from 12 metres to 45 metres.
  •  But the spray height of the central jet is 90 metres, making it the tallest jet in the system.
  • According to authorities, the HMDA will broadcast three shows that last for twenty minutes each during the weekdays.
  • In addition to four shows between the hours of seven and ten o’clock on the weekends.
