Delhi Airport uses scrap material to build 4 cafeteria

Delhi Airport has shown an extraordinary approach towards the treatment of scrap and other recyclable material.

Delhi International Airport Ltd has confirmed the completion of construction of four cafeterias (where we have snacks and beverages) made completely out of waste.
 	The grid top ceiling, furniture, fabric, lamp shades, table tops, and the seating arrangement everything has been made from dismantled machine parts, scrap from the airport building, and recycled metallic and plastic things.
 	New Delhi had Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 for flights. Both the terminals were renovated (old fittings were replaced by new fittings).
 	The cafeterias are made from the scrap generated from the renovation of T1 and T3.

As the Airport is undergoing a massive expansion, more waste is expected to be generated. Hence, additional facilities made of the waste generated can be expected at the Airport in the near future.
