2019 French Open: Updates of Day 12

2019 French Open: Updates of Day 126th June, Day 12 of the 2019 French Open tournament saw some exciting matches.

No matches could be played on the previous day due to rain.

In a huge upset, Women's Singles defending champion, Simona Halep lost to unranked teen Amanda Anisimova.

Some prominent winners of the day

Women's Singles matches

Amanda Anisimova beat Simona Halep by a score of 6−2, 6−4.
 	Ashleigh Barty beat Madison Keys by a score of 6−3, 7−5.

Men's Singles matches

Novak Djokovic beat Alexander Zverev by a score of 7-5, 6-2, 6-2.
 	Dominic Thiem beat Karen Kachanov by a score of 6−2, 6−4, 6−2.

Their wins qualify them for the semifinals where they will be playing against each other for a spot in the final.

Men's Doubles Matches

Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin beat Juan Cabal and Robert Farah by a score of 7−5, 6−4.
 	Kevin Kraweitze and Andreas Miles beat Guido Pella and Diego Schwartzman by a score of 7−5, 6−3.

These two winning teams will now meet in the final.

Women's Doubles Matches

Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka beat Lyudmyla Kichenok and Jelena Ostapenko by a score of 7−5, 6−2.

They are through to the semifinals.

Mixed Doubles Matches

Latisha Chan and Ivan Dodig beat Nicole Melichar and Bruno Soares by a score of 6−2, 6−1.

They are through to the final

Day 13 (7th June) will see the semifinals of the Women's Doubles and the final of the Mixed Doubles.
