ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 updates: Day 98th June, day 9 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 saw two exciting matches.

The previous day's match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was cancelled due to bad weather.

In the first match between England and Bangladesh, England won by 105 runs.

England's Jason Roy was the Man of the Match.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl.
 	1st Innings: England scored 386 runs (50 overs): Jason Roy scored 153 runs while Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow scored more than 50 runs each. Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan took 2 wicket/67 runs.
 	2nd Innings: Bangladesh scored 280 runs (48.5 overs): Shakib Al Hasan scored 121 runs and Mushfiqur Rahim scored 44 runs. England's Ben Stokes took 3 wickets/23 runs.

In the second match, New Zealand beat Afghanistan by 7 wickets.

New Zealand's James Neesham was the Man of the Match.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl.
 	1st Innings: Afghanistan scored 172 runs (41.1 overs): Hashmatullah Shahidi scored 59 runs and Hazratullah Zazai scored 34 runs each. New Zealand's James Neesham took 5 wicket/31 runs.
 	2nd Innings: New Zealand scored 173 runs (32.1 overs): Kane Williamson scored 79 runs and Ross Taylor scored 48 runs. Afghanistan's Aftab Alam took 3 wickets/45 runs.

With this win, New Zealand goes to the top of the table of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Today the match will be between India and Australia at 3:00 PM IST.
