ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: Day 12 – Rain forces match to be called off

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: Day 12 – Rain forces match to be called off11th June, day 12 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 was gearing up for an exciting match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

However, due to heavy rains, the match was called off without a single ball being bowled.

The points will be shared between the two teams, as done for all previous matches called off due to rain.

This is the third match to be called off in this World Cup due to heavy rains.

The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on 7th June was called off before it even started.
 	The match to be played on 10th June between South Africa and West Indies was also called off after the match had started. After just 7.3 overs with the score at 29 runs/2 wickets, the match had to be called off.

Today the match will be between Australia and Pakistan at 3:00 PM IST.

Hopefully, the weather will not play spoilsport from today onwards.
