Fortune Magazine has come out with a list of the 50 of the world’s most powerful women in business for 2021.

What is Fortune Magazine?

Fortune is an American multinational business magazine headquartered in New York City.

CVS Health’s CEO (Chief executive officer) Karen Lynch is ranked No. 1. CVS Health Corporation is an American healthcare company. The company plays an important role in the US response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A CEO is the head of a company and is the main person responsible for managing it.

Ranked No. 2 is Jane Fraser, Citigroup’s CEO. She is the first female CEO of a major Wall Street bank. Wall Street is a term used for the financial markets of the United States.

At no 3 is Julie Sweet. She is the chairman and CEO of the Accenture company. She was last year’s top-ranking woman on Fortune’s list.

Other women on the world’s most powerful women in business list

In the no 29 position is Revathi Advaithi. She is an Indian-born American business executive. She is the CEO of a company called Flex and supports women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields. Other Indian-American women on the list include Bela Bajaria, who works with Netflix.
