FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019: 8 teams advance to the quarter finalsThe FIFA Women's World Cup is underway.

24th, 25th (and 26th June early morning for India) saw four matches. United States, Sweden, Italy and Netherlands were the winners of the matches and they are through to the quarterfinals (last 8).

Results of the final four matches of Round of 16

Spain 1 - United States 2. United States won the match.
 	France 2 - Brazil 1.  France won the match
 	Italy 2 - China 0. Italy won the match.
 	Netherlands 2 - Japan 1. Netherlands won the match.

The quarterfinal matches will be played as per the following schedule:

Norway versus England on 28th June at 12:30 AM IST
 	France versus United States on 29th June at 12:30 AM IST
 	Italy versus Netherlands on 29th June at 6:30 PM IST
 	Germany versus Sweden on 29th June at 10:00 PM IST

United States is the only non-European team in the last 8.
