Face masks litter: Where do they go?

Face masks litter: We disposed of the face masks but where do they go?

As settle into the weekend, our kids in the North are facing cold days. Also, some days there is less sunshine than other days. The daily dose of warnings of Omicron infections rising continues to rise.

Personal journey

Well, having lived with a family which did get infected, I could safely tell you the feeling is weird. If you think about it, it’s only fever, cough and cold, what’s so weird about it? I don’t know for sure, tell us your thoughts in the comments.

But, just like any other problem, get your daily dose of Vitamin D, follow guidelines and hope for the best! The next time to throw off a disposable mask, ask yourself, where is this going to go?

Drive into curiosity

At Curious Times, we are driven by curiosity and let’s think about this for a moment. Ever since the start of the pandemic at the global level, our usage of masks has increased multi-folds, not to mention, sanitisers and stuff that promises to keep our stuff clean.

But the one piece of item that wasn’t part of our daily lives and now has become essential is “The Mask”. Countries all over the world are conscious and aware of this fact. Just like other types of wastes, as citizens, we need to take steps to make sure the end of the pandemic doesn’t punch the universe with more wastes. As is, with food, pollution, consumption, as species we tend to overdo and not worry too much about consequences.

At Curious Times we believe, each and every one of us could make a difference. Don’t just casually throw off that mask, dispose of it properly.  Cotton or disposable? Make an intelligent choice.

Let’s hope we sail through these times with dignity and also welcome little miss sunshine with dreams and aspirations.
