On 3rd July, the match between England and New Zealand was won by England.

With this win, England progresses to the semifinal round of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

New Zealand and Pakistan will now have to fight for last semifinal spot left, although New Zealand has a better chance due to its superior run rate.

• 2nd Innings: New Zealand scored 186 runs (45 overs): Tom Latham scored 57 runs and Ross Taylor scored 28 runs. England’s Mark Wood took 3 wickets/34 runs.
