Under-19 Cricket World Cup: India enters the Finals

Cricket! Who doesn’t get excited at the mention of the game? All of us or the kids who love sports watch and play this game.  Don’t you?

The under-19 Cricket team is also worthy of all the praise. In the Under-19 Cricket  World Cup, India beat Australia by 96 runs. With this, team India enters the fourth successive U19 World Cup finals.

Isn’t it a proud moment for us? The young players of India are creating history through their hard work.

India vs Australia

Australia had a target of 291 runs to win the semi-final match. But, they were bowled out for 194 runs in 41.5 overs.

India’s win is a teamwork wherein Nishant Sindhu and Ravi Kumar took two wickets. Vicky Ostwal bowled well from team India. The Under-19 cricket team captain, Yash Dhull scored a century, leading to the score of 290/5 in 50 overs. Isn’t it exciting?

Yash Dhull made 110 runs in 110 balls in partnership with Shaik Rasheed who made 94 runs in 108 balls. Now, that’s a great partnership in the game.

Team India will now play the U19 World Cup final against England. Don’t you think, with teamwork, we can attempt all the tasks, no matter, how easy or difficult they are?

We at Curious Times convey our best wishes to Team India.  Let us know your experience of playing Cricket with your friends in the comments below.
