Dubai airport opens special lounge for children

Recommended for Foundational Grades

Dubai opens a special lounge for young children.

The Dubai Emirates have opened a new lounge for young travellers who are minors and are travelling alone. The Emirates services for unaccompanied minors must be booked in advance. The services are available for children from 5 to 15 years of age.

Lounge for unaccompanied young children

The lounge for young children at Dubai International Airport is open 24*7. The lounge facility is upgraded at the airport and it is located next to Emirates’ First-class lounge halls.

The children’s lounge offers video games, drinks and snacks, seating areas, free Wi-Fi and washrooms designed for kids. Isn’t this interesting?

Young children can now travel on their own. Parents who book pre-booked Emirates’ Minor service,  can drop the young flyers at Dubai Airport Terminal 3. The Emirates’ airport team will take them under their care and take them to the special lounge area.

Children’s experience

After completing the check-in formalities, an airport team member will take the young flyers through the process of immigration and security.

Children will enjoy the boarding on their plane where Emirates’ cabin crew will welcome young flyers at the aircraft. The crew members will help the children find their seats and settle in the flight.

The children will get delicious meals and snacks designed especially for the children. They will also find toys and activity packs and headsets to enjoy the selection of 50+ Disney movies and 130+ TV channels for young travellers.

What’s more in store for youngsters?

Emirates is offering young flyers take-home toys and bags. These toys and bags are made up of recycled materials and bags are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
