My Expressions

Curious Times in conversation with Megha

I am Post graduate with MA in English literature. I teach English and Mass Communication at Tattwa Center of Learning.

I love to sketch, paint, doodle and taking photographs. I write poetry and short stories as well. I am a huge English movies and series lover and I find my happiness in music. My biggest muse is my mother. I am a friendly person by nature.

What inspired you to become an educator?

A teacher from the past was my biggest inspiration. She was the one who saw the light in my eyes and the beauty in my words. I'm forever grateful to her as she helped me find my goals. Currently, my goal is to bring a change in at least one person's life.

What do you love the most about being a teacher?

The experience and the bond we frame with the students is truly amazing. As a teacher, my bond with my students drives me to be a better version of myself.

The one change you would like to bring in the current education system.

One change that I would like in the current education system is to implement practical education ,rather than theoretical knowledge. It will help them improve their individual talent and skills.

Your message to your 21st-Century-students.

Life is always going to be a rough sea, it is going to throw the most toughest storms and biggest waves. It is up to you to find the way back home. It's okay to get lost at times, learn from your mistakes , but never loose the sight of your destination.

A special story, memory or message that you want to share.

I was always a shy student, my mind would go blank if I had to speak infront of a crowd. Ironically, the subject which I didn't get along with, was English. But one of my teachers helped me find the true beauty this amazing subject held. Ever since then, I fell in love with the English language. Today, I am a teacher who teaches English. My teacher was my life changer and I would love to show my gratitude to all my teachers on this Teachers' Day.
