The ghats are the places with gain
One can really forget here all their pain
The soothing sound of the river can clear your head
“I heard it”, this is all they said
So I went to the Ghat and sat on the stairs,
It gave me a sign to not care
And to forget about all the dejection and not getting scared of any rejection.
A Ghat is a place where we can act like a kid
We can forget the worries and can remember the goodbyes be bid.
The silence of the ghats can take us to our abyss of darkest reminiscence
But at the same time, it can also give us a sense of jouissance.
I now understand what the people said about the ghats was true,
I felt the same thing too.
