Haryana government launches E-Adhigam Scheme
Haryana government has launched the E-Adhigam scheme in the government schools of Haryana.
What is the E-Adhigam scheme?
The E-Adhigam Scene is launched by Haryana Chief Miniter, Manohar Lal Khattar at Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak.
Under the E-Adhigam scheme under which three lakh tablets were distributed to government school students of classes 10 and 12. These tablets are loaded with content relevant to the curriculum. Moreover, there is a personalized and adaptive learning software and 2 GB of free data.
The government has the motive to provide the gadgets to 5 lakh students from classes 10 to 12. According to the scene, the students of class 11 will get the tablets after they clear the Class 10 Board exams.
What’s in the tablet?
The tablets and data are tools that will help the students to acquire new digital skills. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people tried to upgrade their children to online education. This initiative of the E-Adhigam scheme is an effort to help the children upgrade.
The tablets will not only give the textbook knowledge, but the children will be able to connect to the world as well. The kids will find e-books and internet content on this tablet and it will help in improving learning in the children.
Under the New Education Policy, a lot of emphasis is being laid on Information Technology. India has set a target to implement the New Education Policy by 2030. Haryana Chief Minister stated that their target to implement the NEP is 2025. he also stated that the government has already invested Rs 20,000 crore in the education sector.
