Haryana emerges as an education hub

Governer Bhandaru Dattatreya of Haryana has said in his state report that Haryana has emerged as an education hub and shown great development in health, sports and infrastructural activities. He presented the report to President Ram Nath Kovind.

Governer Dattatreya said that the Haryana government is working for the welfare of the people. They have been promoting programmes like Skill India, Digital India, Fit India and self-reliant India. Under the Skill-India campaign, approximately, 80,000 youth have been trained in Haryana. It has made the self-reliant India mission, a success.

Developments in Haryana

Haryana is the first state in the country that aims to implement the National Education Policy (NEP) fully by 2025. Super-100 program has been also implemented in Haryana. Under this program, training for JEE and NEET exams (for admission to engineering and medical colleges) is being provided to the aspirants. Adding to it, Haryana has introduced the Khelo Haryana initiative in the state. It has increased the sports quota and it has helped in identifying the sports talent in the state.

Haryana has also implemented many programs for the farmers of the state as well. 500 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) have been organized in the state and many farmers are connected to this organization. This has been beneficial to the farmers in Haryana. FPO provides end to end support to small farmers and covers technical and marketing issues.

Adding to it, e-governance has been launched in the state. With the help of e-governance, 547 schemes and services of 42 departments have been started online. The report said this scheme has reduced corruption in the state of Haryana.
