My Expressions

On Earth Day, let us pause and reflect
On the planet we call our own
Our home, our refuge, our very essence
Without it, we are alone

The earth, with its majestic mountains
And its oceans so vast and blue
Is a treasure trove of beauty and wonder
And it needs our help, it’s true

For we have hurt this planet so badly
With our endless quest for more
We’ve polluted its waters and its air
And left its creatures in perilous roar

But it’s not too late to make a change
To mend the damage that we’ve done
To show our earth the love and respect
That it deserves from everyone

Let us plant trees and clean our oceans
Reduce our waste and conserve energy
For every little thing we do today
Will make a difference for eternity

So let us pledge to be the guardians
Of this precious planet we share
And on this Earth Day, let us renew
Our commitment to show it we care.
