14th India-Japan Summit takes place

Ahead of India-Japan Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at Hyderabad House in Delhi. It is Kishida’s first visit to India as the Prime Miniter and first meeting with Narendra Modi.

The India-Japan Summit took place on 19th March where the Fumio Kishida and Narendra Modi held talks on various issues concerning the two countries.

The India-Japan Summit will provide an opportunity for both countries to review and strengthen the bilateral economic and cultural ties. They will be allowed to exchange views on all the regional and global issues that concern them.

India and Japan also look forward to strengthening their partnership for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. The two nations will witness the strengthening of bilateral security and defence cooperation.
