2019 French Open: Updates of Day 6The 2019 French Open is a Grand Slam* tennis tournament, played annually.

It is being played from 26th May to 9th June 2019.
 	It is held at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France.

Rafael Nadal and Simona Halep are the defending champions in men's and women's singles.

On 31st May, it was Day 6 of the tournament and there were no surprise wins or losses.

Women's Singles matches

Anastaija Sevastova beat Elise Mertens by a score of 6-7, 6-4, 11-9

Men's Singles matches

Rafael Nadal beat David Goffin by a score of 6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3
 	Roger Federer beat Casper Rudd by a score of 6-3, 6-1, 7-6

Women's Doubles matches

Nadiia Kichenok and Abigail  Spears beat MJ Martinez Sanchez and Sara Sorribes Tormo by a score of 6-2, 2-6, 6-3

Men's Doubles Matches

Rohan Bopanna and Marius Copil beat Benjamin Bonzi and Antoine Hoang by a score of 6-4, 6-4.

Day 7 (1st June 2019) will see matches from big names like Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka.

Apart from singles, doubles and mixed doubles play, French Open also has Junior and wheelchair tournaments.

*Grand Slam - One of the four top tennis tournaments in the world.
