A College Student discovers a 65-million-year-old Triceratops skullAs a child, Harrison Duran always loved dinosaurs. Recently, one of his dreams came true.

He was part of a team who discovered the skull of a Triceratops. It is believed to be 65 million years old.

They dug up the skull in an excavation site in North Dakota, US.

Harrison Duran is a biology student at the University of California.

He was on a two-week digging assignment with the non-profit organisation, Fossil Excavators.
 	Harrison started 'Fossil Excavators' with Michael Kjelland, a biology professor at Mayville State University.
 	They started the organisation after realising that they both like dinosaurs very much.

The Fossil Excavators team have named the skull 'Alice'. They will soon begin the process of preparing the skull for display and research.

Many people have discovered fossils at this excavation site. These fossils date back to the late Cretaceous period (65 to 70 million years ago).

What is the Triceratops?

The Triceratops was a species of dinosaur. You may have seen it in popular movies like Jurassic World.

The Triceratops was herbivorous (ate only plants).
 	It had a frill of bone at the back of its skull and three prominent horns.
