A new home in Iceland for two whales from a Chinese aquarium

A new home in Iceland for two whales from a Chinese aquarium2 beluga whales, Little Gray and Little White have found a new home in Iceland.

They were moved from the Changfeng Ocean World aquarium in Shanghai, China to Iceland.
 	Little Gray and Little White are 12-year-old females and weigh 900 kg each.
 	They were captured in Russian waters 10 years ago and sold to the Chinese aquarium.

They will now live in a big sea pen in Klettsvik, Iceland.
 	Their caretakers in Iceland are taking good care of them so that they can live in the cold climate.

The aquarium was recently acquired by Merlin entertainment, a British company that owns Legoland and other theme parks.

They are against keeping dolphins and whales in captivity, which is a step Canada has also taken.
 	So they teamed up with the wildlife fund, Sea Life Trust to lead the effort.

However, researchers have questioned why the whales have been moved to the much colder Icelandic waters when they actually belong in waters closer to Russia (which is slightly warmer).
