Think of World Environment Day as a giant birthday party for Mother Earth! It’s a day to raise awareness about the challenges our planet faces, from desertification (fancy word for land drying out) to drought.

This year, the theme is “Land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience.” Think of it as giving our planet a much-needed makeover! Saudi Arabia, the host country this year, is facing desertification challenges head-on, and they’re using this platform to inspire the world to #BeTheGenerationRestoration.

World Environment Day isn’t just about speeches and fancy ceremonies. It’s about taking action. Here’s how you can be a part of something bigger:

• Plant a Tree: Trees are nature’s superheroes, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing fresh oxygen. Get your hands dirty and plant a tree in your backyard, or join a community planting event.
