Coca-Cola and Chinese company Mengniu sign deal to sponsor the Olympics

Coca-Cola and Chinese company Mengniu sign deal to sponsor the OlympicsUS-based company Coca-Cola and Chinese dairy company Mengniu have jointly signed a contract deal to sponsor the Olympics.

This contract will enable them to be the beverage and dairy sponsors for the Olympic games for 12 years starting from 2021 until 2032.
 	This agreement was announced during the 134th session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Switzerland, on 24th June 2019.

This is the first ever joint deal for the IOC. Coca-Cola’s partnership with the IOC began in the year 1928

This agreement will be for four Summer Olympics and two Winter Olympics. It also includes marketing rights for the Paralympic Games and the Youth Olympics.
 	The upcoming Summer Olympics will be in 2020, 2024, 2028 and 2032 and Winter Olympics will be in 2022 and 2026.
 	Both companies are already working together to establish a business in China.
 	This joint partnership will be helpful for Mengniu's growth plans internationally.
