Fun facts about Bubble Tea!

  • It is a mixture of tea (like black, green, oolong and white tea) along with milk powder, ice cubes, sugarcane syrup and boiled tapioca balls.
  • The tapioca balls (pearls) which are the main ingredient, are chewy and salty in taste.
  • Other toppings like fruit jelly and grass jelly are also added to the drink.

  • You can drink it hot or cold, with or without milk.
  • There are many varieties of the drink with the two most popular varieties being black pearl milk tea and green pearl milk tea.
  • It is the first thing served at restaurants, often without even placing an order for it.
