Felix Finkbeiner, the 4th grader, who planted a million trees

Felix Finkbeiner, at the age of 21, became the youngest recipient of prestigious Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. Here is what he did as a 4th grader to get this award.

Felix had to submit a school presentation on climate change when he was in fourth grade.
 	While researching, he came to know about Wangari Muta Maathai, the late Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, environmental activist, who planted 30 million trees in Africa within 30 years.
 	Felix was inspired and shared the idea of planting trees with his friends.
 	Two months later Felix started a group called “Plant-for-the-Planet”.
 	Their aim was to plant one million trees in every country.
 	Felix and Plant-for-the-Planet team planted 1 million trees in three years.
 	Felix addressed the United Nations General Assembly, in 2011.
 	Today, “Plant-for-the-Planet” has 70,000 young members across 67 countries.
 	"Plant for the Planet" is also in charge of UNEP’s Trillion Trees by 2020 Campaign.

"Stop Talking, Start Planting"  - This is the slogan of "Plant for the Planet".

Wow he has done a great job. I would also like to support him. My sister loves NATURE. She would be very keen to be a part of this group. I would like to be a part of it.
