Footballer Nadia Nadim becomes a doctor.

Afghanistan footballer, Nadia Nadim and her family had to fly to Denmark. It happened when her father who was an Afghan National Army general(ANA), was executed by the Taliban in 2000.

Nadia Nadim has 98 caps under her belt, she has qualified as a doctor after 5 years of studying while playing football.

Nadia won the French league title 2020-21 with Paris Saint-Germain lifting the Division 1 title for the first time in  history. Also, she scored the highest number of goals, that is, 18 goals in 27 games.

Nadia’s early Football career

Nadia Nadim started her football career in Denmark. She started playing for B52 Aalborg and Team Viborg. She made her Champions League debut in 2012 and won the game at Scottish Champions Glasgow City with a goal of 2-1.

In 2017, Nadiq signed for Manchester City. She joined the club in January 2018 and made her debut with Manchester City on 7 January 2018 in a 5–2 win.

Nadia Nadim attended medical school at Aarhus University with a dream of becoming a surgeon. In 2020, she started assisting in surgery.

Achievements

Isn’t it inspiring to see Nadia fulfilling her dreams? Well, for our kids, it’s not easy, neither it’s difficult. But when you dream about something, you should work hard, just like Nadia Nadim.

She has signed a contract with Nike, the famous shoe brand. Moreover, a Danish publisher, Politiken published Nadia Nadim’s autobiography “Min Historie” which means My Story. This book is nominated as the Sports Book of the year.
