Google has an AI (artificial intelligence) model that can turn written words into music. MusicLM is a programme that uses artificial intelligence (AI).

It was made by researchers at Google. It can take text descriptions and turn them into high-quality music.

Google says that the model can also change a tune that is hummed or whistled into a style that matches what is written in a text caption.

• A research report says that the company may focus on writing lyrics in the near future.
