ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 updates: Bangladesh beat South AfricaOn 2nd June, day 4 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019,  we saw a huge upset when Bangladesh beat South Africa.

South Africa's world cup campaign has started off poorly as this is their second loss of the tournament.

Bangladesh beat South Africa by 21 runs.

Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan was the Man of the Match.

The important match scores

South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl.
 	1st Innings: Bangladesh scored 330 runs (50 overs): Mushfiqur Rahim scored 78 runs and Shakib Al Hasan scored 75 runs. South Africa's Andile Phehlukwayo took 1 wicket/52 runs.
 	2nd Innings: South Africa scored 309 runs (50 overs): Faf Du Plessis scored 62 runs. Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman took 3 wickets/67 runs and Mohammed Saifuddin took 2 wickets/57 runs.

Other Asian teams have struggled at this World Cup so far, but Bangladesh put up their highest ODI total against South Africa.

The 142-run third wicket partnership between Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib al Hasan was the one which played a big role in Bangladesh's victory.

Today. the match will be between England and Pakistan at 3:00 PM IST.
