India triumph against West Indies in T20I!

Recommended for Preparatory Grades

Greetings, inquisitive reader! Have you heard? Our team, India, played an exciting cricket game against West Indies in the T20 International series, and boy oh boy, we won big time! We won 4 out of 5 matches and claimed the series victory, even sending West Indies packing with 88 runs to spare.

Whew! And guess what? The star player, Shreyas Iyer, was the one who led the dance. He scored a whopping 64 runs just from 40 balls. Let’s not forget about Deepak Hooda, who also played well and scored 38 runs.

Cricket Conquest

  • In this super exciting match, our team decided to bat first, a decision made by Hardik Pandya. Shreyas Iyer was simply splendid, smashing ball after ball out of the park and helping India get a total of 188 for just seven wickets. That’s quite a lot of runs! And guess what else? Hardik Pandya and Deepak Hooda also showed some batting power, scoring 28 and 38 runs respectively.
  • On the West Indies side, Odean Smith was their best bowler, taking three wickets and giving away 33 runs. But despite his best efforts, his team couldn’t reach the score of 189 runs that they needed to win. They only scored 100 runs! Can you believe it?
  • With all these thrilling events, our super Indian spinners played a major role too. They took the wickets of the West Indies players one by one, leaving them with only 100 runs at the end. The West Indies team tried hard, but they could only get to a score of 100.
  • The only player who put up a fight was Shimron Hetmyer, scoring 56 runs, but sadly, his teammates couldn’t add much. Their second-highest scorer was Shamarh Brooks, with just 13 runs.
  • In the end, the Indian team’s awesome bowling shone through. Ravi Bishnoi was the star bowler, taking four wickets. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav were no less, each taking three wickets.
  • And so, the Indian team celebrated a glorious victory in the T20 International series, defeating West Indies with a comfortable margin. Oh, what a game it was! And you know what? It’s not just about winning, it’s about having fun. And our Indian team sure knows how to have a blast!
