Today, 22 April is World Earth Day. This day is celebrated to spread awareness on how to take care of our planet. This year’s theme is ‘Invest In Our Planet’.
Earth is our home and it is important for us to keep protecting it. This day was celebrated for the first time in the United States in 1970. Now more than 193 countries celebrate this day.

This year’s theme is ‘Invest In Our Planet’.
The theme emphasises the urgency to act with awareness, caution and together. As per experts, climate change is becoming a challenging problem for humanity, and the fight for a clean environment has become more urgent.
As people become more aware of the problems caused by climate change, its important we act together as a team. It’s at a fever pitch across the world today. The theme lays stress on the importance that more needs to be done to protect our planet and by the people who live on it.
