It was the Mumbai Indians’ (MI) first win of the season in the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. They beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by five wickets on 30 April in Navi Mumbai.

After a six-wicket win against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 30 April, the Gujarat Titans (GT) sustained their winning streak in the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

Gujrat Titans hold the top position on the points table. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) hold the second and third positions respectively in the ongoing IPL 2022.

Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals!

In only two overs, the Mumbai Indians were up 22-0 when skipper Rohit Sharma’s top-edge from the bowling of Ravi Ashwin was caught by Daryl Mitchell at the second slip. When it came to the ball, Rajasthan Royals maintained things tight in the following three overs, which yielded only 14 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav launched a counter-offensive, scoring three fours to get the ball rolling. A six straight down the ground from Tilak Varma put him in the wrong spot, as well.

The Rajasthan Royals were pushed into the batting order after deciding to play on the field and were defeated early on.

A brief summary of the results: The Mumbai Indians (161/5; Suryakumar Yadav 51; Tilak Varma 35; Ravichandran Ashwin 1-21) defeated the Rajasthan Royals 158/6 (Jos Buttler 67; Ravichandran Ashwin 21; Riley Meredith 2-24) by five-wicket.

Gujrat Titans vs Royal Challengers Bangalore!

Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha combined for a half-century partnership for the Gujarat Titans in the first innings. Glenn Maxwell raced away to a 33-run first-innings total off 18 deliveries, slamming three fours and two sixes.

A brilliant catch by Rashid Khan at extra cover ended Maxwell’s innings, and Ferguson was the one to bring it to a conclusion. After hitting a six and a four on the first two deliveries, Mahipal Lomror was caught on the second last delivery.

A quick recap of the game: Gujarat Titans 174/4 (Rahul Tewatia 43, David Miller 39; Shahbaz Ahmed 2-26) defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore 170/6 (Virat Kohli 58, Rajat Patidar 52; Pradeep Sangwan 2-19) by a six-wicket margin.
