Ohud Abdullah Almalki, an artist from Saudi Arabia has created the world’s “largest coffee painting”. She has been awarded by the Guinness World Records for her work.

She is also the first-ever woman from Saudi Arabia to achieve a Guinness World Record single-handedly.

The painting she created is called titled “Naseej 1” (meaning “Woven Together”).

It shows the founding fathers of Saudi Arabia and the UAE (United Arab Emirates). They are the late King Abdul Aziz bin Saud and the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, respectively.

Below them is also a series of smaller paintings of other leaders from the two countries.

This largest coffee painting is 220 square metres and was created on a canvas of seven connected cloths. Almalki spent 45 days creating the painting in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

It was created with 4.5 kg of expired coffee. Two witnesses, video recording and drone footage was used to prove her record.

Almalki says she created the world’s largest coffee painting to remind the world of the close relationship between the two countries. She hopes that her achievement will inspire other women in Saudi Arabia and other countries.
