This vending machine in Rome gives out hot pizza
Recommended for Preparatory Grades
You may have seen a vending machine or two at the railway station or at the airport. You can buy drinks or snacks from vending machines by putting coins in them.
Now, in Rome, Italy, you can even get a hot pizza from a vending machine.
This machine is called the “Mr. Go Pizza” machine. You can get four types of pizzas. They cost about US$5 to US$7.
The vending machine makes the dough and cooks it, while customers watch. Then, it gives out a hot pizza, ready to eat. All this is done in 3 minutes! The pizza is smaller than the ones you would get at a restaurant.
The modern pizza we eat today originated in Naples, Italy. Italians take great pride in their pizzas. So, this vending machine has created a huge controversy.
Some people think it’s “acceptable” while others are horrified. What do you think of this vending machine?
