Recently, a monkey was caught on video riding on a train in the Delhi metro. The Delhi metro had been closed for a while due to COVID-19 and re-opened only recently. So, it seems like even monkeys may have missed it.

In the video below, you can see the monkey happily roaming around a coach, while people look on, surprised but also amused. Then, he runs towards a passenger and sits next to him.

However, by the time officials came to check, the monkey was gone.
Monkeys in Delhi
You can see many wild monkeys in parts of Delhi and other states in India too. They are a common site in historical places, parks and even near where people live. While they look quite cute, they have been known to create disturbances and are considered to be trouble makers.
