Let’s look beyond the issues

Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022 seem to be cast with controversies. Facing criticism to run the games despite the ongoing pandemic to athletes who have tested COVID positive complaining about the food. We’ll stay focussed on the games and have a positive outlook. Needless to say, the games so far have seen the best from some of the greatest athletes who have dominated winter sports.

Where are the medals?

At the Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022, there are two places where athletes are awarded for their performance. One is in Beijing (also known as the Bird’s Nest) and another in Zhangjiakou for athletes competing in the mountain games.

The athletes who finish in the top three at the Games will receive the popular panda mascot and bouquets. At the Victory Ceremony at any one of the two places mentioned above, they are rewarded with the Olympic souvenir.
